Top work by the RedNeck Engineering Master.

I tried the same thing when I was drunk... does that mean I can be a redneck too? happy.gif

No.

It wasn't an insult [To the unexperienced]

Hardly an insult -- I can't stand NASCAR or Budweiser. Imported beer FTW!

I think I'll stick to my gas cooker.

However, I've found that I can heat charcoal much more quickly if I place a small grill ontop of one of the burners, then place the coal on that. As opposed to trying to balance it on the edge of a burner, which is really inefficient.

Use one of these: http://www.hookahforum.com/index.php?showtopic=20542

That way, you can just transfer the entire coil to the hookah.

You won't even have to use tongs if you mount a few handles on the sides.
Man excellent. Wonder if they sell those loose though. I'll check later today. Thanks.

Yeah, most computer stores sell them in singles or packs of two.

They're only about $1 each and come in sizes ranging from 30mm to 120mm.

The one pictured is 80mm, but I have a 60mm one that I sometimes place on top of the 80mm one to raise the coals off the shisha.

Then i just made him some money. Bought two of them. It does make it much easier to light the coals.

I would if they were copper, which has gone up in value significantly. Not to say I'd be willing to kill you all to make a pretty penny...

The fact of the matter is, it's pretty hard to go into a hardware store and come out with something tailored to fit the bowl. The last place anyone would look would be a computer store. Having a lot of these laying around, I thought everyone was aware of them. Not so, I guess.

Oddly enough, the grills are spaced perfectly to rest on any size bowl. They're dirt cheap and virtually accessible to everyone.

I like to believe handy pieces of information never get tiresome if they actually help people, but forgive me if it seems repetitive.
