erufiku
They should have mentioned some of the compounds created while smoking, for example Hydrogen Cyanide better known as Zyklon B and used by the Germans in conducting the Holocaust.
seefoodlover
I read this in the discussion board below that article:"I was told once while in discussion that burned sugar is the MOST addictive chemical on the earth." Thats a load of shit.edit: Oh and sugar is not a chemical, it is an organic compound, unless its sweet and low or something.. Kalutika
QUOTE (seefoodlover @ Apr 25 2008, 02:37 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I read this in the discussion board below that article:"I was told once while in discussion that burned sugar is the MOST addictive chemical on the earth." Thats a load of shit.edit: Oh and sugar is not a chemical, it is an organic compound, unless its sweet and low or something..No wonder I love caramel. Apparently it is a powerful narcotic. That whole list is a bunch of crap. Firstly, some of it is true but the majority is based on conjecture. Study statistics and you will laugh at the line "at least one study says has a narcotic effect". In all medical science this would be considered insignificant data. Show me the tests that says burning sugar is a narcotic and I will give up creme brulee for life also I will take any other part of this list seriously.Final thought: I like that they try and gross you out by mentioning trigger words like the names of organs and the words genitals, enema et cetera. But in doing so they state that the chemical they are talking about it either used in food preparation or as a folk remedy for an affliction...Oh ya, I hate cigarettes. Don't smoke them they are disgusting. But this list is not why.
