mjdx88
I had an amazing session last night with my sample of potion. I will be writing a review in a few mins. I didnt want to smoke my potion Turkish Delight after my last session because it was so bad (feeling sick and bad taste.) Well I know that is from coal issues. I used my large phunnel bowl that I got from nic and my new scaill mod from MNH since I wasnt going to be out there for hours. I need to post pics, this mod is huge it takes up almost all of the space in my phunnel. I used 1 Golden QL 1 3K and a potion coal. It took a while to get everything going but once it was. I havent has smoke that was thicker than this stuff it was amazing. I still am blown away by how much there was.Anyways, 2 questions for you guys. Are the potion coals quicklites? because it took a lot to get em going. I held a lighter under it for a good while and just an edge got going. I just placed it on top of a coal that I had dropped and lit it that way. Also do you guys find the 3 kings to crumble a lot? I like how fast they light, they seem to get hotter quicker than Goldens but they break apart.Mike Edited April 25, 2008 by mjdx88
ryno
I've noticed 3K can crumble or break apart easily, but it is nice how easily they light.
OC4111
They do break easily. I try to break a 40mm in half and it usually breaks off into 3 pieces one big one and 2 smaller ones. the convenience is awesome because of how fast 3k light but I'm a patient dude so that's why I'm going to be swithcing to naturals. More than likely to coco-naras they way everybody is talking about them.
Johnny_D
Potion coals are a bad version of the Japanese easy lights - They are basically a natural coal But I've been told to bin them.JD
mjdx88
They were free, I cant complain. 2 more questions for you guys. I am stuck to using my QL for now I like my goldens but how are the Jap Sliver QL from HS? I will be going to the review section now but hoping you guys might be able to save me some time. Also what is the best way to clean the MNH glass mod?Mike

Bulldog_916
I'd ditch the coals that came with the potion. The Jap easy lights are really good coals generally. I use them for Tangiers frequently and they give me just the right amount of heat. Come to think of it, I need to go pick up some more of those,
