slick8790
Hello everybody,I've recently starting smoking hookah, and I'm enjoying it a lot. My question is about coals, and how to light them. I purchased thesewhen I got my hookah, and I'm having trouble getting them lit, or at least knowing when they're fully lit. I've been using just a bic lighter, since I really didn't know of any special way to get them lit, and it takes a while to get them even hot enough to draw a little smoke. So basically, what I'm asking is, are the coals I bought any good, and is there any special preferred/easy way to light coals? I read somewhere on here that a coal is fully lit when it's glowing red, but when I've gotten mine lit, they never glow red, they just get hot and then eventually ash away.Any tips/advice would be appreciated. FireMeetsIce
Light them on the stove, and leave them till they glow.Try using one and a half or 2 coals on your bowl.

r1v3th3ad
If you're looking for some good quicklite coals, get some Golden Coals...everyone else recommend 3Ks, but I advise to avoid them
