No more hookah stuff for me... not for awhile. Totally happy where my collection is at right now... smile.gif

I'm not too sure... I have a few options... not worried about bills, since I'm pretty good with that kinda thing...

Either some new work knives (see links below), or a SIG Saur P220 Match SAO. *shrugs*

I suppose the wisest investment would be for more work knives (my responsibilities are always changing, and I'm going to need more tools soon), but then again, nothing can beat a new gun either.

2 essential things for less than 1 fun thing. Anyone got a coin I can flip...

P.S. Please, no politics. Let's enjoy this thread instead... wink.gif Edited by oolatec

I'm slowly moving away from most of the heavy prep I'm doing for the restaurant... I'll still have my beloved Yoshi that I better be buried with... but a Gyuto (Chef's knife) won't serve me too well where I'm headed at work, hence the Deba/Yanagiba investment possibility.

And then there's the SIG... UGHHHH!!! smile.gif

Looks like a big waste of time to me....

From what I saw on the BBC Last night it looks like a large portion of Americans are planning on using this to pay bills. Not exactly what Mssr Bush is hoping for...

i think its just a plan by the monkey himself to increase his popularity even though hes a f**king retard and shouldn't even be ion office right now considering he lost the popular vote the second time around but in our dumbass election system we dont elect the president directly and i havent voted yet and wont until we do elect the president directly with a popular vote Edited by Johnny_D

Considering that the price of gas is rising quickly (close to $4/gallon, which is a LOT for us here), and the price of groceries is rising fast as well, most average working people are just trying to keep their heads above water, from what I can tell. To think that $300 or $600 is going to change that is just ludicrous. I am personally rather frightened about the state of the economy, it's going from bad to very much worse, and I don't think we've hit bottom yet. Don't even get me started on the government's role in this mess. dry.gif

Tell me about it. We have just broken the $10 a gallon mark,
Bread is retailing around $2.48 Milk (4 Pints) the same,
Eggs for 12 anything from $2.20 to $4.

It's gone fucking insane with no end in sight.

Our collective goverments have saved a recession....at the cost of a depression [Potentially]

The debt thing is the scariest part. We are a nation of debt. Our entire economy runs on debt. Credit card debt, mortgage debt. As a nation, we are in debt. It's scary. We are ALL running on money we don't *really* have.

I'm with JD, and worried about a potential depression.

I generally go by that rule myself (I have no credit cards), but something like a mortgage is a whole different animal. If I had to save up in full what it costs to buy a place all the while paying rent I'd never get to call a home mine yet I'd still get to piss all that money down the rent hole. At least I have something as an asset if I take a notion to move, even if it isn't paid off.

Well, yeah, buying a home is SMART, as long as you get a mortgage you can afford! biggrin.gif I am very glad I bought my house, my mortgage now is about the same that most people are paying for RENT on a one bedroom place!
