Hey guys, Im new to the hookah thing and here but im sure ill be around a lot with a few questions...

1. What is the best way to clean a hookah. My friend told me to just soak my hookah in a tub of water and vinegar for a night and that should do the trick. I also saw a guy use lemon juice and baking soda to clean his out. I just wanted to ask what was seems to be the best way for you.

2. I like to smoke but I hate to get a buzz. It makes me sick most of the time. I wanted to ask which brands of shishas give you the least amount of buzz or none at all. I heard herbal doesnt at all but tastes like shit. I heard unwashed gives you less of a buzz. Just looking for a little clarification here

SB is a good choice. You're actually looking for washed shisha if you don't wan't that much of a buzz.

dude... starbuzz is way to expensive... anything else that gives a little to no buzz that isnt that expensive

anything washed but SB gives the least buzz of anything i think tonic and fantasia are washed

al fakher is probably your best bet if you don't want a huge buzz and good flavor for the cheap.

Heyyy buddy! I don't know how you're gonna fare with the tangiers I ordered, but hopefully it doesn't make you sick or anything. I've actually gotten a buzz off of Havana, and I thought Havana was washed unless I'm wrong on that one. Honestly I've tried a lot of the cleaning methods people use on here and I've gotta say the cleanest i've ever gotten it was soaking it in vinegar and water overnight and then rinsing it out in the morning.

i would be careful depending on how much viniger you use, how long the metal sits in it, and what metal the stem is made from because since it is an acid it can start to etch the metal. probably wont give you much issue but over time it may hurt it some.

the lemon and baking soda looks to work well from what ivs seen around, havent gotten to pick up my hookah yet though

just when you wash it, rinse it out from what ever you use and try to get it as dry as you can before you let it air dry and you should have few issues if any (just general rules for cleaning metals)

I agree with this.

As far as cleaning goes, I would put some lemon juice in the base and fill it to the top with water and let it sit for a hour or two to remove all smell. For the stem, a scrubber is a worthwhile investment and works wonders with some lemon juice as it eats away just enough of the bad stuff to get it clean again.
