Anxiety
alright so i was smoking some starbuzz and i decided to use my mya bowl which is pretty small but deep, i used 3 cocos and got the sickest smoke ive ever had, the only problem is it got harsh after about 30 mins. when i use my mod bowl which is alot wider but shallow, i use 3 cocos and get kinda weak smoke but good flavor. do you think 4 coco's would b better for the mod bowl? or kick it too fast
superomario
I think your first course of action should be to try a clay bowl similar in size to your mod bowl. The mod bowl has a different heating profile and may be the contributor to your problems. I would even recommend trying the clay bowls that look a bit like a mug if you can get your hands on one since I've had pretty good luck with those when I've encountered similar problems. Bandit402
For my small Egyptian bowl....2 coco naras = 1 hr+ session with thick smokePhunnel w/glass mod....3 coco naras = 1hr+ session with thick smokeIf you can start to taste the smoke gettin harsh, move the coals to a new spot. Try to leave a tiny space b/t the foil and the shisha to avoid burnin. Keep coals on the outer edges of the bowl, not the middle. The middle can get it going fast, but will burn fast as well. I recommend a windcover to get things going.Bandit
Kathrynx
I love my mya bowl. Remove one or even 2 coals for a while, and put a wind cover on. Or take off the whole bowl and blow into it to cool it down, and put your 3 coals back on.
