hshah
If I have been too lazy to change the water... does it really make a difference to my smoking?
Bulldog_916
How can you be too lazy to change the water? It shouldnt affect your session for a while, but still, hookahs require cleaning so that you get authentic flavor. Change the water dude.

Shrekstafa
as long as you dont mind the extra flavors stored up in the water your fine.sometimes i leave my water in for a couple of weeks and it adds a certain taste to the hookah.(as long as im smoking the same flavor of course)
Bulldog_916
If all you wanna taste is mint on the side of the flavor you're smoking. Pack a bowl of another flavor, it wont affect the session until you havent changed the water in 4 or 5 sessions.
hshah
I was just curious about this, because my vase is clear and the water is a horrible colour at the moment. AlFakher mint is so juicy that the liquid trickles down the stem, lol!
mattathayde
if your doing the same flavor it shouldnt be to much difference but if you are switching flavors it will make everything taste the same.it doesnt take that much longer to pour, give little rinse maybe, and fill it up again-matt
FireMeetsIce
Your bowl might start to stain a ring where the top of the water is because that is where the smoke settles. I have found once that happens, it is kind of hard to clean.
Tom1
you can just clear the smoke chamber when you're done smoking to prevent that. Also i read somewhere its healthier since the carbon monoxide wont stick to the inside of the smoke chamber/top of the water.I'm not really sure how true that is though. Codename067
wait wait wait, so you will spend time getting coals ready and packing a bowl, but you wont change your water? that takes literally 30 seconds. 10 seconds if you have a water available right there and then. Plus I have to take it downstairs to clean, with again is effort. ilikemyusername
i've found old and moldy mini chunks of tobacco in my water from setting it down and not smoking from that hookah for a little while, i certainly wouldn't do it again, water gets funky when you add nutrients like glycerin, tobacco and molasses
Rani
If you're not going to clean the pipe or empty the water for a day or whatever, then just stick to the same flavor so you don't get them all muddy tasting..... But really fella..... Ewwww....'Rani
kornkitten42
if you're smoking the same flavor, you should be fine. I wouldn't worry about a day. Just smokeit up and write you paper. When you're done, then clean it.
