Dravyn3
Hello everyone! I have been lurking around here for a few days and decided to join finally. I am new to the whole hookah scene and dont know much. I have found a wealth of info on these forums and other websites, so thank you for that. I do have a question though... Does anyone haver any experiance with Sahara brand hookahs? I bought one at my local tobacco store a few days ago and love it. I then went on to purchase a Namor hose from Hookah-Shisha and it didnt fit correctly. The place to plug it in is too small. Anyways without trying to ramble on too much, is it me or does some shisha such as Fantasia Caramel Frapp and even the blueberry taste just like glycerin with some flavoring? The first time i smoked it it reminded me of the days playing paintball and getting hit in the mask and having the glycerin based paint splatter all in my mouth ewww. I have the Infinity and it fits well with the Nammor. Also I have had the same problem with the Caramel Frapp. that you have. All I tasted was the tobacco, no flavoring. Elky
well that does look to have a pretty small port on it. what you can try is using a few gaskets to link the hose to it, or if you are feeling brave you can shave/melt down the connecting end of the hose to better fit in the port. Rani
QUOTE (Dravyn3 @ May 3 2008, 10:44 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I have the Filigree model.I also have this same model - it was my first hookah. I have heard but can't confirm personally that all Egyptian stems of this size are actually made by KM - but not under their own name. If they don't they whoever is making them does a fine job because it smokes almost as well as any KM or MZ I own. Pretty amazing for a hookah that size. I'm passing it on to a friend who's interested but doesn't have the ability to make the investment right now in a big pipe. Famtasia gave me the hardest time learning to get going right. Not even Tangiers gave me that much trouble and although I like the Blueberry I'm still not a huge fan. Just my personal taste. I really love Fantasia Pumpkin Spice though. It's nothing short of amazing. I suggest you do a Fantasia search. I asked for advice here on the forum and got some to get it going well.
