I'm 100% sure everything was right. everything was airtight and such, so i'm really confused haha

johnb73
i don't have much knowledge on the subject but i remember reading that KM hoses sometimes leak so you can't pull all that great. maybe this is your problem?

Itami
QUOTE (johnb73 @ May 4 2008, 12:51 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>i don't have much knowledge on the subject but i remember reading that KM hoses sometimes leak so you can't pull all that great. maybe this is your problem? This must have some merit, because my hose came out of the box with two holes I had to patch up. I noticed this when right after a pull I would see smoke rising from the hose, which is obviously not normal. I'm thinking if something that "bad" happened, then there might be seal problems of some nature I don't know about. I might get a nammor, even though the hose that came with mine accents the hookah so well and I'd hate to mess up that little vibe there.

r1v3th3ad
thats just because KMs are overrated...same thing on the Tangiers bus...too many fanboys, but than again I might become a Tangiers fanboy one day
NickReppinThe909
rivethead i agree 100% i prefer my MZ to my KM's that i have had and tangiers isnt leaps and bounds ahead of any other shisha its just a little better but not much
Rani
I own three KMs, one MZ with another on the way. Bot KM and MZ are great pipes and I've never had a problem with any of them. But I also own an Al Kareem Syrian that that is their equal. I'm a huge fan of both KM and MZ but I also firmly believe that any pipe can smoke well if you know what you're doing with the individual pipe and make adjustments accordingly. Another thing to consider: I've noticed lately that smoking quality isn't consistent - but the weather is changing so damn much and weather can really impact your smoking. The coals burn different in higher humidity, etc. Don't automatically assume it's the pipe. Give it a really good cleaning and try a never fail shisha like Starbuzz at a different time of day. You might be very pleasantly surprised.'Rani

boulderkid303
Are you saying tangiers is over rated??? Give me a break! And KMs are the best IMO.QUOTE (r1v3th3ad @ May 4 2008, 12:49 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>thats just because KMs are overrated...same thing on the Tangiers bus...too many fanboys, but than again I might become a Tangiers fanboy one day
MechAnt
Set the pipe up completely with water but no bowl. Plug the bowl connector with you palm and inhale through the hose, there should be a good amount of pressure on your palm and no bubbling of water. If you get weak pull on your hand, no water bubbling, then it's a hose port or hose leak. KM hoses are notorious for leaks. Make sure there is a ball bearing in the purge valve as well. KM's are just overrated. They are good but overrated for sure. *cough*MZFORLIFE*cough*
boulderkid303
You do understand mech that MZ's and KM's come out of the same factory....KM's are just beter quality. So people should just stop saying that Km's are over-rated. I have had my Hafa for 2 years now with everyday use and no sign of rust. It is an amazing pipe. Well see how my MZ holds up after that time.

JillyIsJustKidding
I had the same prob and I realized what was the prob...Inhale more! lolI was so used to smoking with my MYA Nou Nou, that short inhales would give me lots of smoke because of how small the hookah is.But when I got my KM, you have to inhale more and longer to get thick ass smoke. Try this and see if it helps!
