Braavos
The constellation Aquarius does not rise very far above the horizon in the northern hemisphere, and that's why northerners see relatively few meteors. But the ones they do see could be spectacular Earthgrazers. Earthgrazers are meteors that skim horizontally through the upper atmosphere. They are slow and dramatic, streaking far across the sky. The best time to look for Earthgrazers is between 2:00 to 2:30 a.m. local time when Aquarius is just peeking above the horizon.

Braavos
There will be meteors every night for the next six days or so, but last night was the peak. Local time (in the article) was Western Time, so just before dawn. I went out from 2-3 AM here on the East Coast (NH), and saw six or seven. There was like no moon last night either, so it was like the whole sky lit up.
Braavos
By the way, the meteors will generally be most frequent close to dawn. If you're an early riser, you can catch a lot still. If you're like me and stay up late, it's still worth keeping your eyes toward the sky, although it will be less frequent.
Sask_sean
Fuck, I didn't miss them did I?I've been meaning to take the ol' camera out and get some long exposures of meteors and now that it's nice out again it'd be a good time.
