Medium Phunnel Needs Different Packing Technique?

So I put some nakhla bannana in my new medium phunnel and after about 2 sets of coals we took a break. When I got back later in the day I couldn't get the bowl to smoke again with 3 fresh coco-naras and a windcover. Has this happened to anyone else before?

First off I would say not to use Nakhla with a tangiers bowl....kinda pointless. Nakhla likes normal clay bowls and alot of heat. It als depends how long you smoked for before you stoped and left.

Never happened to me before. Sounds pretty weird because theoretically, it should get back up and running when heat is created again.

Absolutely! I don't use funnel's for Nahkla. Just use a normal bowl.

And I think it's probably far to say that 2hrs on a bowl of nahkla is about the limits. I've never gone to three sets of coals with it.
