Wow, someone bought a ticket to see Paramore? tongue.gif I thought their six fans were busy self-mutilating and buying rainbow headbands. tongue.gif jk, mostly, who am I to comment on your tastes.

So far this year I've been to 311, Foo Fighters, Protest the Hero, The Trews, The Unseen, Tiger Army, Queens of the Stone Age, a few dozen local bands and a handful that I didn't know the name of. Sarah Slean tomorrow night, the Hives and Killswitch Engage in two weeks, and Iron Maideeeen in June.

lulz, i know the drummer from jfac...hell of a nice guy that jon is...

and mjd, i just saw streetlight like 2 and a half weeks ago...awesome ass show...i really want to see them again now.

anyways, on to my list
5-16 local h(this will be my 4th time seeing them, and i'm excited as hell)
6-25 the toadies(i'm excited as hell for this show too...i absolutely love the toadies)
jimmie's chicken shack plays around the area a whole bunch(they're from about an hour away), so i'll probably stop by one of their shows at some point this summer

aside from that, i'm sure i'll go see some random locla bands and stuff like that. should be a good summer show-wise.

yeah, they broke up for a long time, but have been doing some reunion shows. don't think there's anything planned for a new album, unless i'm sorely misinformed(which is a huge possibility), but yeah...it's going to be awesome.

I'm hoping Roger Waters comes around this year

I saw the In the Flesh tour at Madison Square Garden, and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen (and trust me, I've seen a lot)! Didn't realize there was a possibility of a tour this year, and don't generally go for stadium shows anymore, but I'll be watching out for that one!

two Septembers ago saw his Dark Side of the Moon tour...amazing
haven't lived until you've seen him live

Yeah, the entire SHOW is so amazing. It is definately in my top 10.

Edited to add that the DVD of the In the Flesh tour is pretty good, too, although of course not as good as being there. Edited by iron molly black

Dave matthews band and tom petty at the the mile high music festival!

*nods* Seen them both DMB many times. Funny note about Tom Petty, I had a friend who worked venues setting up events back stage. She said that of all the acts, Tom Petty was THE WORST to work for. He flipped out about EVERYTHING. Had an absolute hissy because something was served in STYROFOAM...lol. Not eco-friendly, I guess?
