boulderkid303
I spoke with eric last night and the new packaging is just new. No drastic change in the baccy and you still need to let it acclimate. Not sure where the rumor started that you could smoke it right away, but just wanted to put some info out there from the guy himself. Also it may just be me, but there are certain flavors I can smoke right away. Last night for example I got a brand new pack of cherry and smoked it about 10mins later and it was great. Pineapple smokes up fine quickly to. There a few flavors I can smoke within a half hour. Some take 36 or more hours. I can pack a bowl of many flavors right from the package. I just open it and do not put it in the container and load a bowl and the put the rest in a container to acclimate. I ONLY do this when there is a good smell from the tobacco. Once you know the tobacco, you know when you can or can not smoke it right away, not for the faint of heart. I have gotten some of my best bowls this way. Tons of flavor and huge clouds. Deathwish238
So perhaps the new packaging helps keep the shisha more stable meaning less acclimation needed?
EternalSoil
no the thing about the acclimation is that people started realising that the cut seemed smaller and thus appeared to need less time acclimating. It does seem smaller to me but i still acclimate it. but i do also smoke it out of the bag too when i get it in.I dont think you can acclimate it too much really. just dont let it dry out or put it near bugs and shit.
