Anyone Find It Difficult.....

To get a good pull using the diffusers after a couple uses?
At first I loved the diffuser, now I feel like im sucking and getting too much air. It seems like with it on, you have to mess with water level and all kinds of stuff, but I love how quiet it is. Anyone?

I know what you are talking about. I had the same problems. What I do now, I'm just using the upper transparent part of the diffusor. This reduces the noise level without affecting the pull.

I do the same, I have resorted to just using the upper part that slides on to the stem. It still keeps it quiet. Question? have you changed your water level, or you sticking to the standard inch and a half?

I can't use it on my mya obelisk but when I smoke my Mini Mya and Pharaoh I use it and I have been using it off and on for about 6 months with no problems. I do push it up all the way up the downstem as possible when I use it. I keep the water level 1/4 - 1/2 and inch above the top of the difusser with no problems.

It depends on your hookah. On my Mya I figured out that a bit more water works better. Somehow weird! I think you can keep it standard. You can also move the upper part upwards on the stem. That makes the pull also easier but raises the noise. So you can adjust it to your preferences.

What are you guys talking about, how far up the stem do you mean? Mine is just under the nut that I have on the stem. In between the bulge in the nut and the opening. Edited May 13, 2008 by shesha1

heat the rubber part of the diffuser up with a bic slightly and work it over the nut
