MNH
ya this might be moved to a different location, but i am selling some rims and tires on there and the first day someone tells me they are sending me a check and once i receive the check they will come and pick them up... I felt something fishy the whole time and I told him if he has a check then he should be able to get cash or send me a money order.. I never heard back from him...scandalous. anathema
this is why craigslist says not to do shipping transactions over craigslist...
AzZ
Wow! The Nigerian fraudsters are everywhere now. The stories they make up are too funny but sadly some people fall for thier scams.

kornkitten42
I was just sent one for WALMART, TARGET , Walgreens and CVS, it had a "letterhead" and all like it was from the actual companies!! They were like YES... Spend 100.00 or whatever on these items in the store, cash this check, take out 450.00 for you , then ship the remaining 2000.00 and all the stuff back to the "quality care supervisers" address..... I was like UH NO..... and ripped it up and threw it in the trash! Edited May 15, 2008 by kornkitten42
r1v3th3ad
just heard about a scam in the area, if not everywhere...you get a phone call and its an automated message saying something like "someone in a ----- corrections facility is trying to call you, to receive their call, you have to call xxx foan # and set up an account"...my mom told me if you call it that they get all your info and can use your phone number for whatever they want, including identity theft. ASUSEAN1
i only deal with craigslist if it is local.. you can get some good prices on random things and as long as you meet the person and make sure they have cash it works out pretty good minus the occasional bargaining after you already have a "set" price
Zabiela
I love craigslist, I bought a bunch of useful stuff for cheap.Only local, of course, and I usually meet in a crowded supermarket parking lot... in case you know, they're shady.Check out the "best of craigslist". Exile
@! lol.I love the Personals. If you need a good laugh at someone else's expense- try the craigslist personals. (Explicit ) Seriously, so hilarious- especially large population cities.Half the ads there are either bots that link you to bogus swing sites, or men in Asia who get paid to spam and pretend to be women for bogus swing sites. XDIts so interesting how so many people are resorting to the internet for sex.Might make a good college paper or something.

Words can be argued...a hotel cardkey is pretty black and white Its too bad. she was absolutely bangin, and was about 10 years older than I (and I'm nearly 30).
