That's OK...Yes, exactly, ordering a second bowl at a cheaper price, using the same dirty pipe and water.
We need to clarify the language of hookah into English...so many variations from so many places...
Sorry, my first message covered all of this, but the server rejected it, so I got lazy.

Ahh ok. I absolutely love the idea of refills. The only lounge near me
that I've been to charges 10/bowl period. I think that a refil at a
discounted price will definately encourage people to stick around
longer.

And as for the water, as long as you arn't giving someone a hookah that
was used 5 hours previous with the same water I think it doesn't
matter. Using water from back to back sessions is fine, and I do it all
the time.

Eeeew! Icky! Why put clean water in at all? Just use dirty water, from the garden...that gives me goose bumps!
Just kidding...it really gives me the heebie jeebies though the idea of inhaling through dirty water is ...weirds me out man!

The place near me uses hookahs with the stoes in the stems. And they are colour coded. So he knows what flavours have been smoked in which hookahs.  He never puts an apple bowl on a strawberry stem so there is no flavour contamination, and since it's a straight 6 bucks per bowl, if you change flavours on the next one, he just grabs a different hookah.

I need to find a better lounge.  The place ive gone to a few times is bogus.  They use those larger mya pipes and Ive had a couple with leaking hoses-no problem they told me and wrapped a napkin around it.  this last time I went the seal between the vase and the body portion had a bad leak - it was affecting the smoke (it was a great flavor otherwise) I asked them to do something and she said its normal because thats where it screws together.  I was not in the mood to argue. They also measure the tobacco in "half-pints" for $15 which appears to me to be a 250g container of AF, with a little taken 'off the top' and repackaged in a generic clear container.  My complaint is isnt a pint a liquid measure?

Actually there are dry quarts and liquid quarts, a liquid quart being less than a liter and a dry quart being more than a liter. We used to buy strawberries in pints.
There are 12+ lounges in SD. The problem, of course is, they're all pretty much copies of each other or Fumari. I just want a simple place where I can smoke, keep to myself, maybe play a nice game of backgammon, chess or cards.
Having only one lounge gives zero options either you go or you don't. What used to annoy me is these lounges charging 12, 15, $20 for a bowl and then charging obscene money for home-smoking supplies, to justify their sick, bloated pricing on rentals.
Ahhh! Much better.
