I'm telling ya, I think its the term bowl bringin them around...we should starting saying head or something... Like, "hey, I bought head today at The Devil's Playground"
or, "I smoked head full of cream soda today"

but really, I've seen a few of these floating around lately, and I really believe that the term bowl is doing it, thats what nht users call their pipes, a bowl...

it was only on here that i first heard a head referred to as a bowl...i'm not really sure where that came from since the majority of arguileh stuff comes from arab markets etc and the word in arabic is 'ras' which literally means 'head'...i have to say, i was a little disappointed just because i know of the nht connection to 'bowl'

I completely agree with the bowl stigma. I hate getting bad looks from people when my friends and I talk about smoking a few bowls of shisha. we could start a petition to tell all the vendors to start calling them Bell Bowls, and casualy drop the bowl part, as if it was natural and unplanned.

i really did like the idea of saying a bell of shisha, or maybe start refering to it as amount, "and after we got back from the bar, we lit up some grams of sisha" but the item we put it in would still be refered to as a bowl, or maybe to be wrid, we could just spell it differntly lol a bowel of shisha

haha see i may be on to something. bowel would definetly not cause any misconceptions though lol we might be looked at as nasty ass eating freaks but wont be thought to be mis-using are hookahs
