stuyvo
iv had one of these for a few months now: it hits a little rough sometimes but that could just be me being kinda nooby, I was wondering how large the difference is between a hookah such as the one I have and one thats alot more expensive; is it worth my upgrading?im in australia so shipping will likely be harsh from the US and brand names arent exactly going to be easy to find localy (although there are a few places i know of that I can buy large hookahs) I bought this one for $40 from a local tobacconist but the exact same one is advertised on ebay for $60. n0s
By the looks of the hoses and stem styles it definitely looks like a Mya hookah, but I've never seen the base and stem in those colorsIf it is a Mya, you'd be hard to beat the quality, and it might be your techniques that are giving you bad sessionsOnly things in my experience to beat a Mya is a KM or MZ. SimplexCoda
ya to my knowladge mya doesnt make colored stems. but you can get some relatively cheap hookahs that smoke well. But it you want a brand name i would say Mya, KM, or MZ.

Ideally you'd want a hookah made of quality stainless steel or brass with a sturdy base. I've heard that the colored Mya knock offs are usually made of aluminum, which probably won't last you as long. After that it's all about durability, IMO. A decent Egyptian shouldn't cost too much, but shipping one to Australia might...
