Just Wondering?

Recommended Posts

if you smoke a new brand or new flavor, do you write reviews? if you get free samples from a company on the idea that you would, do you?
just wondering?
do you keep an open mind when you smoke new brand or do you have a pre-determined mindset upon smoking it?
I have been reading all the tangiers threads and it comes down to taste IS subjective, but are your minds made up on the suggestion of others or do you actually try said products out with an open mind and actually base it off your mind or taste?
for example, if you read that "whatever brand" is great, do you already expect it to be great and that is why is is so " great " or do you actually smoke it...and taste it...

I try to write a review, but alot of the time i forget, by the time i get the flavor and get all excited and smoke it, I usually forget, there should be some type of reminder tongue.gif

If i hear from multiple sources that a flavor is no good, I will stay away from it. If there are mixed reviews, and the flavor is a flavor i am interested in, I will give it a go. If there are mixed reviews and I have no interest in the flavor, I will not buy it (obviously) I only exclude this w/ tangiers mainly because if people say it tasted nasty or burnt , I usually assume they packed incorrectly or it was not a good batch. This goes for brands as well.

If i place an order for a flavor, then I am wanting to try it therefore I will have an open mind and not assume certain things until I try it and base it off of my tastings.

I try to write a review as soon as the sample is done, normally unless a flavor is like Romman Grape I will try anything and if its free it can be romman grape and I will smoke and and write a review.

I'd like to write a review most of the time, but I forget to take notes while smoking.

Then i just don't care anymore.

I write a review with an hour of smoking it. Flavors I buy, flavors I get or flavors at friends. I keep a complete open mind. If the first bowl is bad I always give it another shot until I am sure how to pack and heat a tobacco. I try to be fair. If I don't like the flavor I point it out and try to remain objective on rating it. Like Romman Grape... LOVE ROMMAN...Grape just tastes horrible, but I love the tobacco.
