mattarios2
was going to order from hookahcompany but i hate waiting like 8 days for it to get here and paying so much shipping. So i ordered from texashookah and 2-3 day shipping was only like 4 bucks. So anywhoo you guys have any good ideas on making the blue part red? Could I just paint it you think? I figure this gives me a chance to make the bowl look a little custom. I have a MYA which is obviously a chrome color stem and the base is dark dark red with black.Any suggestions or ideas on what I could do? Or you think paint is the best bet? Maybe spray paint? if I do it carefully and cover the black part with tape?
ilikemyusername
you *could* give it a fair sanding, go to your arts and crafts store and buy glaze, i think you can fire glaze in your oven, that should work but talk to someone there that knows about clay and glaze

liquidglass
u could probably just paint over it and use a paint on glaze or a poor mans version (nail polish) it'd work if you'd want, but the sanding down, painting, glazing would be the best looking probably

Bulldog_916
Buy another grommet specifically for the phunnel. I use my old one for the phunnel and I cant complain. It's still air tight. Cheaper really to get another grommet instead of putting in all the time and energy.

Bulldog_916
Nevermind. My bad, I thought it was about the rough surface on the inside of the phunnel. I would just keep the color the way it is honestly.
Victim026
You could do something really unique and get high temperature automotive engine crinkle paint and paint it.
