Super Chef problems.

has anyone had any problems with getting ash down the hookah whilst using the super chief, after a hookah session when i take the pot off i notice that there is a considerable amount of ash on the rubber plug. The reason i think ash goes down the middle is due to me putting an X shape pattern in the middle to help with air flow, any ideas on how to stop this or if its normal?

Well i dont get any ash in the middle of the super chief. I use some holes over middle too. But if your gettin ash try not using holes over the center, it will be fine without them.

try blowing on the bowl straight ACROSS (not down on) the foil before and after you ash your coals

I was told that you shouldnt put holes in the middle of the bowl , try that out and see if it helps with the ash problem.

I put like 2-3 holes in the middle of mine. A ring on the outside and then those 3 in the middle.. Ash never gets in somehow.

Actually Zero, if you wouldn't mind saying "bowl" or "head" instead of "pot" we'd appriciate it. It tends to bring unwanted attention from search engines and can give those not familiar with the way you use the word the wrong idea. No harm done but we've had this little issue before with someone from South Africa I think it was.
