Snoopy1966
Here a few pics of the new glass bowl and screen I got from MNH. I will take more and add them later when the bowl is empty (in use now)These pics are about half way through the first set of coals. I took them off so you could see how the screen seats in the bowl. OC4111
I saw the video Snoopy. it looks like it's working awesome. Am I right? What about removing the screen when you're done and want to clean the bowl? Does the screen stick to the bowl?

It was alittle hard to cleen the screen, but all I have right now is a really used up scotch brite pad. The bowl is working great. I am going to put round three of coals here pretty soon. OC4111
Nice, the screen you could probably do what I did with the scalli mod when I 1st cleaned it. Just let it soak in some warm water and dish detergent for an hour or so and then just wipe everything off with a scotch brite.
Scoop
steel wool will probably clean it up nice. i used it for my glass mod and its spotless
NUBBS
Snoopy, what do you do for a living? Thats like your 5 jet bowl at 50 bones a pop. Santino
Are they selling the glass screens now? If so my credit card is ready...
ryno
Ok, these pics confuse me. How exactly does the smoke get drawn down the stem with the glass screen? The part that confuses me is how the middle of the phunnel stick above the screen
cymptom
I'm with ryno, kinda confused about exactly how this works. Is that the screen that's beveling up in the middle like that? Is the top of it hollow? Where does the heat get drawn in?/

Voski
To clean the glass I would recommend you put it in a pan with water and baking soda and let it boil. This cleaned my scali mod before I lost it.
pingywon
The glass screens worked really well while in was in MN with Ramsey and Tarik - I need to get my hands on a glass screen!Clean didnt appear too bad -but it looked like it could have been as difficult as getting shisha residue off the rim of your glass phunnel
Scoop
this doesn't look like a phunnel bowl but a regular glass bowl i think (i am unsure, pics aren't that clear)

Is the video link in this thread for this bowl?? You could do the same thing I would imagine with foil. No hole pattern and make the middle hole open. Never tried it, sounds like an experiment to try out with a regular phunnel that has the middle hole going up higher in the bowl. I need to show Simplex Coda how it works on my regular phunnel also. NUBBS
I just realized something. Is that the regular MNH glass phunnel? If it is, I think MNH needs to update or post picture like the jet bowls. Also what size is that? Edited July 31, 2008 by NUBBS
darkone253
Man I want one so bad. Every glass phunnel I see I want them more and more. Looks fucking TIGHT.
Scoop
just got mine in today. its good, doesn't get harsh for shit, but good lord, you guys are lying out your asses about cleaning it...that shit took me 15mins to clean all the junk off the screen and mod. OC4111
All I do is after I smoke I let the mod soak in a glass of soapy water overnight. the next day take it out and scrub it with a scotch brite sponge. dry it off and pack my next bowl. the key is letting the mod and screen soak.
