Well I get a call from Texas today. I assume its a customer I take the call. Its Randy from Fantasia he says great job of FOTM. NO big deal I appreciate them likeing our work. He tells me they have new flavors on the way Super. I am delighted to hear this.

Now the kicker comes in. And I mean right in the balls. I guess shops accross America are crying about on line pricing and refuse to buy Fantasia until we all raise our prices.



I have not read the email yet but looks like we have to sell Fantasia 200G for like $18.00. Not just me. He named all the big dogs. MNH, H-S, US, even the ones I do not send people to like TH. He had a freaking list. We are all having to raise our prices. I just wanted to warn you guys before you have to go site to sire and think the sites are being greedy. On the other hand Fantasia is not upping our wholesale so they are not being greedy either so don`t hate them for it. They just want/ need to expand their customer base. Its all part of business. I just don`t want online vendors to be seen as greedy.

Feel free to comment on this. I will direct fantasia to the comments and let them see how you the avid smokers feel about the price change.

OUCH, that hurts me man. I love(d) fantasia, but at that price probably not so much any more. You can get 250gs of SB for a little more money, rather than just 200.

I don't get how raising the prices will 'expand' the customer base. Guess we'll see how their sales do.

If they wanted to expand their customer base, I think LOWER prices would help. And for the price change, I'd rather smoke SB, even though I havent tried it yet. I was really looking forward to starting to smoke Fantasia more, but after that price goes up, I wont buy it.

Well, raising the prices will expand their 'customer' base (as in their customers are the retailers) while it may diminish consumer base, but I doubt that. The store sales will make up for the lost online sales

sO THE COMPANY IS TRYING TO MAKE ITSELF LOOK "PREMIUM" BY SETTING A MINIMUM PRICE FOR CUSTOMERS, TO MAKE THEMSLEVES LOOK MORE EXCLUSIVE. But The vendors aren't havign to pay more for wholesale, so the company is MAKING vendors make more profit on their stuff????

I say BS. if you all stopped sellling it they would lose more of their customer base, not gain more and that would defeat their entire plan. But you all are going to "nuckle under" and make a bigger profit, poor you?

I say fols refuse to buy Fantasia because the company is artificially raising their price for no better reason than to appear more "premium". How that for a replay?

If you wholesale/retatilors refuse to give in to this blackmail at the risk of having to choose another brand, not like there is a shortage of good tobaccos, then they will have to reverse their attempt or go out of business because they lose half their retailers.

Let me tell you something, convey this straight to them. I. WILL. NOT. BUY. 200. GRAMS. OF. ANY. TOBACCO. FOR. $18. FUCK THAT.
I don't even buy starbuzz anymore not because of the flavors, but because its overpriced. 250g for $18; now fantasia is trying to pull off 200 for $18? Tell them this. Their fanbase of dedicated smokers will shrink by the second. They will become smiley like; where their flavors are good but way overpriced. Relay the story of smileys to them. And guess what? If they up their prices then lower again, half of us wont buy again because we will have found another favourite. Damage will be done. Tell them not to for their own business plan's sake. They may get more smoke shops immediatly, but theyll lose out in the long run.
Why so harsh? Why so mean? Cuz I love them. Tough love. But I can't justify buying their stuff at the most expensive price on the market.

Mush I spoke to Lum he will be in Vegas for a week we are going to try and give him cancer that week. lol He is going to stop by the shop. I will have him sample some blends for the lounges. I will have him take back recipes for your lounge also.

Oh and unlike some cali tobacco lounge he is smoking for free my man. I feel its an industry perk/ curtesy. Hell when JF came in he smoked for free why not a lounge employee.

Never liked Fantasia to begin with. This heightens my dislike of it. Always saw it as a bit overpriced and whatnot but I'm sticking to the true blue: Tangiers, AF, and Fusion. I really wanna try some Zona....

I USED to smoke fantasia, and now that it's 18, especially for 200 and not 250g I will pass on that. Thats ridiculous. I knew there was some sketchy reason as to why Texashookah had raised their prices. Eh, looks like Tangiers, AF, and Nakhla for me.
