I've been lurking the forum for a little while and just recently registered so that I could leave a review for two new vendors I placed an order with and was really happy (gothookahs and worldhookahs).

I picked up a 31" KM from gothookahs and a range of random sample packs, some coals and a medium funnel bowl from DPG as a gift.

We ended up setting the thing up already yesterday to give it a shot. I've never done it before and found that it was easier then I thought. I only had two small coals on it for the first 30 minutes or more and found that 4 was the right amount since i had the bowl lightly packed.

I was just curious how long a funnel bowl usually lasts when its filled all the way. When i peeled the foil off and stirred it around, everything was still very moist and it seemed like it could have gone on much longer. We cut the session off after an 1.5 hours since we had to leave. We've only been to bars before this and and they were always stingy with coals, so I never really knew when the shisha was used up.

I use forums when researching most of my purchases, and I'm very glad I found this one.

Bars always cut you short as far as coals and my opinion are concerned.

You could have more then likley gotten at least 2 hrs out of your bowl
