Chiller or Rotator

Recommended Posts

Well, I suppose you should weigh some of the pros and cons of each. I'll try and point out a few to help you in your decision.

Obviously, the rotator rotates and the chiller doesn't, so that is an
obvious plus. No messy entanglments occuring, and less likely to pull
it over with these entanglments.

The chiller will supposidly get your smoke cooler, but to be honest, I
think the chiller is the biggest scam... A buddy of mine has a chiller
hookah and I honestly cannot feel a difference from simply putting ice
in the chamber. The only thing the chiller will do is make cleanup a
hassle. And can you imagine tipping that bad boy over? Have fun with
that ;)

I personally would take a rotator over the chiller, because I see it as
being more useful in the longrun. One thing I am not too fond of from
the rotator hookahs is that there is more chance of it breaking down
for some reason. When hookahs get more complicated, there are more
things that can go wrong.

These are just a few of the pros/cons that I could think of off the top of my head. I'll chime in again if I think of any more.

rotaters get rusty around the rotation and quite leaky, they become a
bithc to deal with.- if i were you just dont go with the rotator or
chiller like yashman said the chiller isnt worth it so come  back
with anohter hookah your thinkin about- try some other sites too .

Id just go with a traditional 1 or 2 hose hookah and put ice in the base. With two hoses on opposite sides atleast you wouldn't have to make  a compleete circle with only one hose, less chance of a mishap, if you know what I mean. KISS (keep it simple stupid, no offense meant)

I recently bought the Syrian Chiller and it was a real piece of
crap.  It was big and awkward and it leaned.  The
construction of the shaft was very cheap,  as there were 3 parts
to it that were welded together and they were welded very poorly,
resulting in loose parts.  It's very difficult to clean because
the shaft is so long it doesn't fit in the sink.  For whatever
it's worth to you,  I suggest getting maybe a 21" rotator.
But don't get the Supernova because it is also very cheap in it's
construction.  The metal is extremely thin and the base was poorly
welded.  And the hose stem was not even welded,  it was
soldered,  and within a very short period of time that stem came
loose making the hookah no longer airtight.

If you're looking for a good sturdy Syrian Hookah,  I suggest the
Syrian Glyph.  The shaft is one piece and it's quite
beautiful.  It would make a great centerpiece on your table.
The glyph etchings on the shaft are what make it so attractive.  I
bought the gold shaft on green frosted vase and I could not have been
happier.

Rotators are very nice,  but don't get the Supernova as I think you'll be very disappointed.
