Foil? Pfft...

Recommended Posts

So I asked my friend to make a phunnel bowl for my dad's gift (egyptian brass hookah and bohemian vase to match) and he made one, and a ceramic screen for it. The screen is very thin and its the first run, hes going to be making a lot more, and hopefully thicker ones. Here are some pics.

My friend smoking with the ceramic screen on.

Nice one dude.
Tell me how that ceramic works out- I've been considering getting one.

You think ceramic would work well with 33m?

ive used metal screens before but by the 8th bwol it has tons of burned tobacco to the bottom, i tried scrubbing and scrubbing but some of that will not come off

its a great idea but i think it would have the same problem

Ceramic makes so much sense! I'd bet that the heat stays really well in it, so when your coals start to die, it takes the heat a little bit longer to die with the ceramic.

I'll take a few! 1-small and 2-mediums for the funell bowls!

I'd take one or two, as well. If you get prices figured out, PM me.

Well that sounds tight but how do you get it off? wont it be to hot to touch?

other than that i'd get one!

My tongs have a long pin type thing on the end of it. You could just stick it in one of the holes and pull it off with that.
