GiantSquid
It's called "Hookah Net Cafe". I was thinking about trying it out. They charge about 8 bucks a bowl, which is less than any other lounge in the area charges, and they're much closer to my house. But here's the whole reason why I'm posting this. I need some advice. This place doesn't know which brand of shisha they have. At least, when I asked, the guy said "I don't know." Now, do you think you'd be willing to pay 8 bucks to try something, if you didn't know what it was? Hell it could be Al Waha for all I know, or that knockoff Al Fakher. Not that I have a problem with Al Waha or anything. It was one of the first brands ever bought, but I dunno. How much do you other lounge owners usually charge? Am I constantly getting ripped off going to lounges? I rarely go, but sometimes when I'm feeling real squirrely I'll check one out. What do you guys think? Dereksd
8 is really cheap.i used to drop 20 at sinbads here in san diego which i know is outragous but now i own my own hookah.i still go and smoke there sometimes when i pick up shisha from them(20 bucks split between 2 people)
HookahCrazy
$8 bucks is the cheapest ive ever heard of. Then again, most of the hookah bars that i have been to are in the New York City area, so they are never going to be that cheap. Anyway, i don't think its that big of a deal that the guy you talked to said "I dont know" because he was obviously not the manager or owner. Its likely that a waiter isnt sure of the brand of shisha. If you want to know the deal on the shisha they use, i would simply call them up, ask to speak to a manager, and he will definitely know. ( if he doesnt, dont ever go there again lol)
GiantSquid
Well I'll definitely check it out one way or the other. I don't think I can resist the urge to try a new lounge, but last time I was there I didn't have the cash on me to smoke so, I didn't smoke. But maybe I'll just go pick up a tub of a flavor that sounds pretty good.
MechAnt
That is a great price for a bowl. Try asking the manager/owner.Derek, goto Oddessy on El Cajon! That's where Eric, the famous crafter of Tangiers is!
