I've been seeing a lot about Super Putty from the Oxyclean guy on tv...says it fixes leaks smile.gif

I will check that out. What about the stripped plastic threads? I don't care if I cant take it apart, maybe some kind of epoxy also on the hose port and the piece it screws into??

The way they talk about that putty stuff, if you surround the hose enclosure with this putty while the hose is in, this would likely seal the entire thing closed - of coure like you said - the downfall is never getting it apart again.

Which part is damanged, the hose end or the leila end? I'm wondering if some creative plumbing tape/putty/melting of plastic would manage to engineer something usable.

The plastic thread on the part that is on the Hookah is stripped.

Maybe it's time to find someone with welding experience and have them just weld on a hose port. That way you can use a real hose with the bastard anyways.

I gotta yank and twist to pull my mya hose out of it's port, so it should be good enough for road use.

Push the little quick disconnect down and hold it in when you pull out the hose, comes out very easy then.
