Recived A Package But Very Disapointed

ok i found a guy on ebay in australia selling a mya qt even tho i allready have one he also had a nammor hose and a large tangeirs funnell bowl so i got it from him cos its allmost impossible to find a nammor and funnell bowl in sydney

i open the package all xcited c the nammor in the box the case for the qt he had like the little case not teh bird cage style which mine 1 came wif i open the case up and find the funnell bowl is broke the stem of the bowl is fine its just around the top its broke into 4 pieces its a large funnell bowl

is it possible to glue it back together would it b fine to smoke out of if glued it back together im not sure so i thought id ask u guys to cee what think about doing that im so disapointed having a bad few days this week 1st last nite drop the coal onto the floor in the kittchen and burn it now this

was so xcited about trying a funnell bowl and having a nammor hahahahah

I'm drunk but dude learn to spell.... You can try gluing it, just be careful with what you use becasue stuff will give off chemicals when heated.

you can glue it back together, super glue works as long as it's given a chance to dry. I did it with an Egyptian bowl i had.

I wouldn't use standard super glue, do your research online and find a glue thats meant for high temperatures.

go to bunnings, they have stuff to glue cracked fireplace glass ect, just be careful and im not sure about toxicity and such so you would need to check that type of thing out: with a good wash i'd assume it would be fine though

glue should be fine but make sure it can handle heat. also if your going to comment on someones spelling you might aswell do a spellcheck on your post.

But yes super glue was perfectly fine for my glazed Egyptian bowl, no adverse effects etc etc. Super glue doesn't give off toxic fumes (although I wouldn't recommend drinking it) so if it heats up the worst that can happen is it evaporates.

Sorry to hear about your mishap....

Check on the box, of the glue that you do finally use, and see if it has a heat rating...or speak to someone at the store you bought it from if they might know at what temperature that specific glue starts giving of chemicals.

I thought about that (and already answered it), but if it doesn't give off toxic fumes then it's nothing worse than smelling vinigar.
Not that I would recommend doing ait a lot, I did it b/t the broken pieces and on the outside tried to stay away from the inside of the bowl. Then eventually made it into a phunnel bowl.
