What To Do With Tombac?

So I bought some Tombac because I wanted to try something a little more traditional and I'm not quite sure what to do with it. All I've been told is that you rinse it and then pack it up high touching the screen. I don't understand exactly what rinsing it or washing it is supposed to entail. I have a fairly large brick of the stuff and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to rinse all of it at once and save the rest for later and if so how should I store the tombac once it has been wet? Do I just cut off a chunk and rinse it? Also, how long should I rinse it and what temperature of water should I use to rinse it?

I just have a billion questions. I feel like the apes in Kubrick's Space Oddysey when they found the black monolith. I'm really afraid of ruining my batch of stuff by doing something wrong. Thanks!

yeah, look at mush's video. don't wert all of it, just what you will be using...and you'll need a special head/"bowl"

not true mush uses an egyptian bowl

Start coals then follow these steps..

Step...

1) Set up hookah
2) open bag
3) place tobacco in bowl
4) place coal on tobacco
5) smoke


you can use anybowl but a phunnel. i bet a phunnel too but it would be hard

no tin foil/screen is needed and smoke it for a while, i didnt like the taste at first but got used to it Edited May 28, 2008 by Canon

Just be careful, tombac can pack a tangier's punch x10.

Ya, that's the stuff I have the video for. You can use and bowl though a large flat shallow one seems to work best. I originally used a traditional Tangiers bow but i've done it with standard brown glazed bowls as well. Drop me a pm if you have any additional questions or catch me on aim, captmushrat.

oh ya..even in the middl eeast, they don;t really inhale this stuff aparently. You puff hard like a pipe.
