frost91
Why are certain hookahs better than other ones? I got a hookah at a local store recently and it smokes pretty good. Whats so good about brands like KM?

Whats so good about brands like KM?Fewer leak problems, everything seems to fit together overall much better, and also if you compare stems to each other you will find that KMs (and MZs) have bigger hearts and ports as well as wider down stems so more smoke generally. Besides, IMO you just can't beat the look of a classically made premium Egyptian pipe.'Rani

The Devils Playground
I will say what I always say. Smoke what you like. Also if you can only afford a generic egyptian then thats whats best for you.Make sence?
Jeff_T
It is split between personal preference and build quality of the hookah. I have a KM pear, syrian, MYA QT and rotator. The KM is the best overall, but the syrian is a better build. I use my QT 75% of the time though because it smokes about as well as any of the others, but clean up is much less time consuming and its much more portable. MrMoodz
Research and experiment. If you really get into this hobby you might be picking up a few different hookahs. Try different brands/makes of hookahs and be your own judge.

Most people on here say to stay away from the Sahara Smoke Hookahs, but that was my first one and it served me well. I see hookahs like cars. A Kia and a Porsche will both get you from point A to B fine, its just the quality really.
