Speak_In_Vowels Posted June 2, 2008 Share Posted June 2, 2008 okay so i go into a lounge two days ago to buy some starbuzz, when i get in there i see that they now carry SB 100g tins. my first reaction is happiness...so i ask the lounge owner how much he charges for the 100g tins. he responds by saying that they ONLY charge 15$ a 100g tin.so immediately i laugh a little, so i dared to ask what they charge for a 250g tin, he rsponds " umm...like 26$so i asked if he we serious, when he tells me that they sell samples of every flavor for 3$ he also tells me that there's approximately 20-30 grams in a sample... im thinking great no phunnel for me tonight. i would have just left and gone to my usual vendor but they were closed due to remodeling =(so i bought like 6 samples for the hell of it, and took them home to weigh them because they looked like way more than 20-30 g, when i realize that that each sample weighed between 50-65 grams. so let me get this straight, he sells 100g for 15$ and 50-60g for 3$either he has no idea how to tell how much is what, or he gave me more because i called him out on his outrageous prices.oh, and also his havana there runs about 17$ a 250g tub, which just makes me laugh(not all shisha is premium lol)so basically this guy knows nothing about hookah and it's pricing.i'm just glad that there are much moreresonable vendors out there =D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If I was in a pinch I would try to make a deal with him and get it down a little but no way I would ever want to pay that much for a 250g tin.That is funny though that you can buy two sample that are half the price of a 100g tin. Tell him you can get it for $18 online with free shipping (show him www.worldhookah.com) So because him having it cuts down on the wait time tell him you'll give him $19. Go $20 at the very highest. If he doesn't budge, act like you 'give up' and sigh then buy 5 samples for $15Most people might suggest why pay $19/$20 when you could buy the 5 for $15. I do have a question though: has anyone actually seen the owner smoke hookah before? Because he doesn't know what the hell he's doing it sounds like. How much of the AF did u smoke before you took it back?IMO i'd steer clear of this guy he sounds like he's got some customer service/attitude problems. He doesn't deserve your money or your time.
