Is it ok for him to smoke kashmier peach? I would think it is but wanted to double check w/ everyone on here.

Thanks alot guys.

How allergic is he?

Should be perfectly fine, a lot of it depends on what he's allergic to in the peach, but if he can eat peach flavored things that dont' contain real peaches he'll be fine.

But honestly, he should be fine regardless. Molasses/glyrcerin......vs.....peaches. He'll be safe.

Thanks, anyone else have any idea? (nothing against you liquid) would just like more answers to assure this isn't going to ruin our night.

I have a friend who's allergic to Oranges and I'll always clean the entire hookah after smoking any shisha that has any hint of orange in it before smoking with him. Better safe than sorry.

No hard feelings bud, never a bad idea to get more than one opinion. I'll tell you if I'm 100% correct on something, just don't hold your breath for it.

depends what compound in the peach hes actually allergic to. if it happens to be the flavoring compound used then youre friend would be out of luck.

depends if its a form of IgE-mediated hypersensitivity induced by a major birch pollen allergen or a "true food allergy" in which the reactions are caused by stable fruit allergens like lipid-transfer proteins within the peach istself.

is he allergic to apricots, pears, cherries or plums?

I'm afraid i'm inclined to go down the line of 'better safe than sorry'. If he has that extreme an allergy then I'd just avoid it. Plenty of other flavours to choose from!

As Scoopy pointed out - Even the flavouring could pose a potential risk.

I would not do it.

You don't know what compound in the peach triggers the reaction. It's possible that when the peach flavoring is distilled out of the peaches, the compound that your friend is allergic to is left behind. On the other hand, it's possible that the peach flavoring is a concentrated form of the very compound he's allergic to! You just don't know.

Smoke a different flavor - that's my advice.
