Glad to see that the forum is still friendly and informative.
I appreciate all the comments.

For the record, my hookah is always kept spotless and this wasn't some residual taste/smell being imparted on the AF.
My 2nd bowl was brand new when I tried the Banana, Apricot, and Melon.
From the moment I opened the packs I knew somthing was not quite right.
Smell on pretty much all of them was either not accurate or plasticy.

8 boxes of AF was enough of a test, time to move on.
Just like with 'King Moa' not many live up to the hype..."for me".
