How do you guys store your hookahs? The one I have now is able to be taken apart and put into a box. I know many hookah stems are completely attached and are unable to be taken apart. I would think transporting your hookahs are a pain because you'd probably have to get a really secure bag to keep it in? Edited by Winter

I plan on buying a tennis bag to store and transport mine. There are lots of compartments, and some good padding to keep everything safe. Right now though I keep it as a center piece in the living room. two weeks ago I used the base for some flowers we picked. When I have to transport it, I have a large bag from SouthSmoke that does the trick.

Hookah-shisha has some bags that work pretty well. Hookah-Hookah has a suitcase style case. It has more padding than the HS one but the HS is pretty easy to move around and transport for just around town.

I got my case from H-S when I bought my MYA, I for one was sorely disappointed. It has no pockets what so ever, it's literally just a bag with a strap on it to carry around. I think it was like 15 bucks, too, as it didn't come with my hookah. For $20 like someone else said, you can get some kind of Adidas Tennis bag or some such, with pockets or compartments or something. I hate hearing the sound of my bowls and stem clattering together as I carry around my hookah.

well I've got the large bag and I can carry my 32" 4 hose and my 32" KM even with some coals, trays, and hoses in there. They strap down so it's no biggie.

My advice for the bag is not to get something else. Just sew some pockets, insert some cotton padding into them then attatch them to the inside of the bag.
If you're feeling adventerous add a zipper or button to it. keep them from falling out during transit.

I use a Hookah bag and lots of Bubble wrap for the vase and my glass bowls. Once you get it down, it is not to hard to bring all your stuff with. I even bring my coil burner so I can use my Coconaras and I bring QL's also just in case. I have a nice carry on suit case that also will carry everything I use. My KM Tri-Metal Stem and everything fits in the suitcase. A good duffel bag should work just fine also.

As far as storage I just keep my vases and stems in my huge closet in the dinning room. Not put together like you said. Edited by Snoopy1966

I use your normal, everyday duffelbag with a sort of bed along the bottom made out of an old cardboard box. On top of that I put my bowls and base inside ghetto-rigged cardboard something or others, taped up ridiculously. My stem/hoses basically just add extra padding around the glass/clay bits. I carry my shisha/coals in a separate bag that I got in the mail for being subscribed to time magazine or something... It works. Hookah.gif

I have a hard case that I bought at menards. I dont remember how much it cost but it was really nice and came with foam that you could cut to shape. It worked well for my smaller hookah, but when I bought my larger one I just ditched the foam and wrapped the hoses around the base. It's pretty secure. One day holding it by the strap and the strap broke dropping the case to the concrete. ohmy.gif I ran inside and opened it up but nothing was damaged! dance.gif
