Wow, a lot of people on here are nieve and ignorant. ITS NOT ABOUT THE FREE SAMPLES!!! Miscommunication and the USPS being full of ass holes. Stop harping on the easy things to point out, learn to read and comprehend.

Victim - I know how you feel, everyone reacted the same way when I complained about not recieving the package. I just wanted to know if he sent it or not, or if he changed his mind. And everyone acted like little bitches and had to jump to conclusions, when I made it clear a million times.

I think that we should come to a conclusion once and for all and just close this thread. I just read 4 pages of this crap and feel my head spinning but here is a summary:

1. Person gives not-so-great review of a free sample
2. Creator of the tobac offers to send out another free sample
3. Person doesn't get second free sample
4. Person makes an attempt to contact Creator, but Creator is busy with his growing business and it slips his mind.
5. College student goes out and gets smashed (I'm in college too.... I know how it is) and decides to just go off the handle on the forum to make his grand speech about the horrible business tactics of this brand (with some valid points mixed in there)
6. EVERYONE starts blowing EVERYTHING out of proportion, taking things out of context, adding their 2 cents even though they don't know what the hell they're talking about, and EVERYBODY (especially Person and Creator) start to get heated
7. Something that could have easily been avoided has taken time out of many people's lives to read

In Conclusion:

Victim, I understand that you're not bitching about the measly 50 grams of tobacco and you do make a good point in the fact that when a business says they are going to do something, they should hold true to their word. HOWEVER, I would go through every avenue possible to solve this problem under the radar. You prob should have tried to contact him other than a PM on here instead of blowing it up like this. Of course Questions is going to get defensive when you attack his brand and his character. If you emailed him and he wrote back "F*CK YOU!", then you can go ahead and blow up his spot and his bad business practices. The fact he didn't write back doesn't mean he is doing it intentionally to disrespect you or shun you in any way.

And Question, I understand that you are a busy man who is trying to get his tobacco brand up and running (my brother came up with the name Epic Tobacco so i'm looking forward to trying your stuff). It just has to be clearly stated that you do work for the little guys. We are all little guys in the big scheme of things. There are buyers and there are sellers. A dollar is a dollar. Money is money. Business is business. Maybe you forgot to ship it out and just don't want to admit it, but maybe you did ship it out and it got lost. Who are any of us to call him a liar without proof?

From what I have read, it is all miscommunication. Victim, please try to be understanding of the fact that he may just be so swamped with his new tobacco and trying to get it off the ground that he really just forgot or it did get lost in the mail. Question, please try to be understanding of the fact that Victim just felt slighted and disrespected as a consumer.

Victim, keep on reviewing them how you see them.

To the following friends of mine that have replied on this thread (Don't worry if I know you and forgot to mention you!)...hello Rob, Boris, Nori and the rest...

I think, if I might be so bold, Victim is basically calling the business practices of Zona into question...the size or the delivery of the sample is in question, he's basically saying he didn't get it because he panned it in a review.

Its a lot of work to send out a round of samples, if I send out 12 sets of samples, it takes me half a day, getting half a day to actually do it is difficult, and there is no "paper-trail" to remind you, you have to accomplish it from memory. Not that you aren't important, but I'm sure Sr. Zona has a lot of things on his mind and a lot of samples to send out. Trust me, there are several things that bourbon is at this moment keeping me from remembering to do tomorrow...Cut the guy some slack, I'm sure he's got a lot of shit going down...just keep sending him emails...
