Buzz From Starbuzz Vs. Nahkla?

Since I've never really gotten a buzz from my hookah (yet), I'm curious to see what it's all about. I've got some Starbuzz in the mail but I've also heard Nahkla is good too. So, what do ya'll suggest that I get so I can see what the buzz is all about?smile.gif

starbuzz = pretty much no buzz but good flavor
nakhla = ehh buzz the first couple times you smoke it, flavor is okay.
tangiers = amazing flavor and buzz plus is way cheaper than starbuzz

if i had to choose one brand only to smoke it would def. be tangiers. just my opinion though.

Tangiers is good, but the buzz hasn't been noticeably different from many Nakhla flavors. Nakhla is always consistent and flavorful, easy to set up (no special BS you need to go through), and if you fail... you should just drive off a cliff or something, it's that hard to do.

Plus Nakhla is nice and cheap happy.gif. I get mine locally for $5.50 per 250g, which is about 1/3 the price of tangiers once shipping is factored in. I've tried tangiers, and the k-peach/schnozzberry/peach iced tea are pretty decent tasting/buzzing, but I just love my Nakhla.

starbuzz is washed tobacco so it only has about .05 nicotine . if you want a good buzz find an unwashed tobacco they carry around .5 nicotine

that is why tangiers will give you a better buzz. however it is possible to get a buzz off of washed tobacco. you need to pull hard and inhale as often as you can. Try using a KM hose which is a little wider than a regular hose.

I think he'stalking about acclimating and different ways of packing, and how hard it can be for someone new to Tangiers to get a bowl burning right. Nakhla on the other hand, you just fluff in there and throw some coals on it, and thats it

i agree BUT the flavor in SB will only last 30 minutes tops after that it gets a real watery flavor to it

Definitely stick with Nakhla or tangiers for the buzz. I'd go with Nakhla first. If you're not used to a buzz the tangiers may be too strong to start with.

I'd say the buzz from Tangiers K-Peach, when I had it a few years ago, it was about 10x stronger than any Nakhla buzz I've experneiced.

Sure, Nakhla is dry, but their Lemon is the best Lemon I ever smoked.

I have not smoked K-Peach, so until I smoked that, Nakhla Lemon is the current champ for biggest buzz.

i really like the buzz i get from Nakhla. it's a differrent kind of buzz. it's a more chill buzz whereas Tangiers will give you a very IN-YOUR-FACE buzz most times (which is nice, also).

the general rule is washed tobacco like starbuzz is .05% nicotine and unwashed tobacco like Tangiers and Nakhla is .5%. however, if you look in the side of the box of Layalina or Hookah Hookah tobacco, you'll see that it also says .5% although they are washed. it just varries from brand to brand.

Hookah Company, Hookah Life, Hookah Shisha, MN Hookah, Social Smoke, South Smoke, and The Hookah.

Hookah-Life is the cheapest I've seen. Followed by HC, South Smoke, then The Hookah and Hookah-Shisha.

flavour has nothing to do with the buzz unless theres a little something more than just flavouring nakhla and tangiers will give you the biggest some say nakhla some say tangiers it all depends on how you load the bowl and your heat on it

when my hookah hookah gave me a better buzz than starbuzz (ironic name...pff), i thought i was getting light headed from lack of oxygen or something. lol. then i read the nicotine percentage on the side of the container and it all made sense.

Hookah Hookah's "hazelnut" is great. kinda watery, but really thick smoke and nice buzz.
