Does Anyone Know What Kind Of Hookahs These Are?

I went to a lounge down here and smoked out of one of these hookahs, im pretty sure they are syrian however im not 100% sure. they had male heads on them and smoked amazingly well. anyone know what kind or where i could find these are? heres the picture Edited June 6, 2008 by fineout

By the looks of it they look syrian//egyptian. I could be way off base but thats my best guess based on what i see. Very intricate stems, just beautiful hookahs.

Now don't toss them to the side as Mya knockoffs cause of the Bohemian Base.... I'm 99% sure there Ager Syrian Hookahs, I've had two of my own and they both came with beautiful Bohemian bases. Most of the looks match right up to the two I had, any chance you can get a better picture of the hearts of the hookah and the top of the stem where the bowl/ash tray are? If ya can I can confirm on the Ager branding.

There's nothing wrong with MYA's, most people on here just prefer a nice handmade Egyptian to them. I mean sure there pretty, but they don't purge as well as any Egyptian, and there EXPENSIVE usually. Those are most peoples concerns, I've owned my share of Mya's and they are still good pipes still in my opinion. Edited June 7, 2008 by Victim026

I've smoked a Mya. It worked. For the price, I'd prefer a nice Egyptian or Syrian pipe. It definitly did not smoke as well as my KM.

the two that are up front and center have syrian style bases and mya style-ish (especially the base where the hose goes in) stems. also, looks like a tiny tray...like a mya

cuz its local to my college, not my house and im only there in the mornings during the summer so i havent been able to ask him. are mya bohemians male heads though? ive never seen a male head hookah so thats what really confused me.

Mya's aren't bohemians, they may come with bohemian glass bases though... Like I said before, they look like Ager Syrians with Bohemian Bases.... And of my Ager Syrians one was a male bowl and one was a female. So it could go either way....

I've looked and looked and looked, there seems to be NO online vendors whatsoever for these hookahs. I purchased both of mine from a close friend who owns a hookah bar and the vendor he purchased them from no longer carries them. At one point last year someone on here had said they had a Middle Eastern hookup on them, but I haven't seen them online here since last fall. I would say your best bet at finding one will be stumbling across them in a Hookah bar. My friend had about 4 dozen of them at one point, there may be one or two left, but I would have to check with him and see. Edited June 7, 2008 by Victim026
