You use less coal, easy to manage heat. They look cool and they will last a long time as you do not knock it off the counter like I did with one of mine 50 bucks for something that will hold no previous flavors, perform better then a regular Phunnel is a great investment for the ones who take Hookah serious.in what way does it perform better than a regular phunnel o_OIn bold.its a smaller bowl, i dont think less coal makes it any better. looking cool is aesthetic which is useless to memy regular phunnels dont hold flavor, a little bit of baking soda every week and it has no smell what so ever
NUBBS
Maybe I got the glass and pyrex mixed up. I dont wanna mention names, but pretty respected guys in my book and to others on this site. Whenever I say something about the Jet Bowls, they all gripe about it and give me a hard time.

jfaltous
QUOTE (Scoop @ Jun 9 2008, 09:55 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>QUOTE (HOOKAH2810 @ Jun 8 2008, 11:41 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>cloud wise are they any better than a regular phunnel?no. clouds aren't determined by the bowl, but by heat management. The air flow caused by the shape of the bowl actually forces the heat in a direction that causes a more efficient cooking of the tobacco, thus leading to more clouds. While you are right, that the clouds are determined by heat management (among other things), the bowl actually allows for more efficient use of the heat over a regular phunnel, even over a phunnel with a scalli. So yes, cloud-wise the Jets are better than regulars.Ever since I first used one of these Jet Phunnels they've been my regular go-to bowl. In fact, I have 5 of them now... overkill? Probably. But still well worth it

NUBBS
So I now have a Jet Glass Phunnel and Screen thanks to Snoopy and I have a question. I understand its glass blown and hand made, but it is so loppy and odd shaped. I have used it about 6-7 times and notice that the inside hole sits very low, so even when I have the mod in there it leaks a lot. Ive used mod bowls plenty of times and havent seen this much juice on the stem and in the base. I know this doesnt happen with a Tangiers phunnel, I have one.Is this normal for a Jet Glass? Does this happen to anyone else?
