i suggested the glass screens to them when the jet phunnels came out and i dont know if they have messed with it yet.

i PM'd them a couple of weeks ago and they said the guy is really busy right now.

With more glass to be blown in addition to all the bowls they make and i assume their blowers make other glass things aswell, thei must be pretty busy.

So, what makes this bowl worth the 50 dollars? Enhanced smoking experience or is it mostly aesthetic?

I would say the aesthetics and the customization of the glass. I don't know that it preforms and better than a standard funnel. Maybe Snoopy can tell us more...

I dont knooow. dry.gif I heard not so good things from a lot of hookah guys in the biz. And it all makes sense.

You cant make glass bowls because glass will shatter after so many heat cycles, so its technically Pyrex. And because the pyrex is less dense, it doesnt retain heat well. Which is why 9.5/10 bowls are clay or clay-like. The point of heat retension is for a consistant and clean burn. They clay density reflects the heat from the coals back up and all around thus the shinny side down. Any of this make sense? For all I know Im just crazy.

Doesnt matter, the Tower Jet phunnel is on my list and MNH is cool enough to make me one. Its small for personal sessions, so it wont waste much if it does. Its a phunnel and you cant go wrong with that!

I dont know about that nubbs.. for the last two years I smoked out of our mn glass regular phunnel and never had one break because of usage.. and now I have been smoking out of the Jet bowl since we came out with those and have only used one the whole time..which is many times a day and havent had any problems.. I dont believe in what these hookah guys in the biz are talking about... Just throwing in some on hand experiences with the glass bowls.. anyways nubbs Im hoping your black tower is done on tuesday...... Edited by MNH

The MNH glass Phunnel and the Glass Jet Funnel are well worth the money. You use less coal, easy to manage heat. They look cool and they will last a long time as you do not knock it off the counter like I did with one of mine sad.gif
50 bucks for something that will hold no previous flavors, perform better then a regular Phunnel is a great investment for the ones who take Hookah serious.
