Birthday Present

So my girlfriend's birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I have a few ideas of what to get her, but I'm just not totally sure. We've been going out for over year. I was leaning toward an iPod nano (green) because she really wants one and just thought it would be good. A nano would set me back $200 and thats pretty much my max. So I'm wondering if anyone has any other suggestions? I think an iPod would be good, but want to see what else is out there as well. She is really into fashion and stuff, but I don't have the right mind to spend 200+ on shoes, purses, etc. so I think that stuff is out of the picture. So...

Any thoughts?

If she has said things like I want an iPod then I would buy it for her. If she is letting you know what she wants you should get it.

Well if you know that she wants an iPod Nano then get here one! Then get her the favorite desert for the birthday cake. Flowers and little notes hiding all through the house. Make a treasure map so she has to find her present.

I'd say get her a Nano or jewelry. Some gifts that's easier on the wallet are novels, flowers, a nice dinner, taking her to a concert, etc. Thanks for reminding me. My wife's birthday is July 12th.

Ended up getting the nano. And we're going out for a nice dinner/martini bar (shes turning 21).

Lol well I was going to say get the nano from ebay or get green covers for a regular silver nano so she can make it any color she wants.


And I like snoopys idea. But I would use mine for something like valentines day instead. Set up gifts at different places (post office, etc) and have notes with them to guide her to the next....then you're waiting at the last place. Works great, I did it when I didn't have a lot of cash for gifts. Because it's not the gifts it's how they're presented.
