indian_villager
I saw alton brown use this on his show good eats to start up natural coals for the grill.http://images.surlatable.com/surlatable/im...tail/490078.jpgWhat you do is put the coal in the top part and a wad of newspaper with a lil bit of cooking oil in the bottom (there is a screen separating the two). And in a bit the coals should be redonkulously hot. I saw one in sears for lie $9 but that was far too big for my purposes so i may emulate one out of soup cans! IT works great for lighting coal! I only had to crumble up like 3-4 pieces of newspaper and let it sit for like 2 minutes.

Voski
Thats my video. That was the only way I could figure out how to light coco-naras when I first got them. And my windcover looks ancient because of doing that. It looks pretty cool though.

Those things are used a lot for lighting natural coals and I couldn't find mine. Very good way to light coals especially if you need to do a lot of them.
