Frank
I actually think they are undercutting a bit because I think Fantasia needs to be sold for $18 now for 200G
Johnny_D
Neal [The Devil's Playground / WorldHookah] Posted about this a little while ago.It looks like they are demanding that vendors and retailers are pricing at a specific level. Which is fine of course as it's their business strategy and who am I to question it?Of course it's the consumers choice as to weather to purchase it or not. Same as Starbuzz. Overpriced. However What I (and others) have suspected is that whilst the members of this forum are quiet enlightened and intelligent I suspect that we represent 1% of the entire hookah smoking market. Probably 0.01% of the world market!!!!!Someone, somewhere, is purchasing it at these levels JD

ahwahoo2006
There was a study done recently that showed that people actually enjoyed things (especially food) more when they thought they were more expensive. Maybe Fantasia read that and thought they could make more money and get people to think their shisha was better....
Bulldog_916
How about just not buying it? Unthinkable! I wouldnt buy that little shisha at that price. Although I keeled for Starbuzz, now I realize my mistake and will continue to stick with traditional brands. Layalina, Tangiers, Al Waha and Nakhla. Occasionally I'll go for AF too. likespaceships
They should just start selling it at 250g like everyone else to justify the price.
Stuie
Maybe it's worth that much to some people, not me. I might buy a 50g pack from time to time. But I am not paying that to smoke red dye.

Scoop
QUOTE (kvtaco17 @ Jun 10 2008, 07:34 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Fantasia magically does... like red dye can taste like raspberry kamikaze...or blueberry, or green apple martini...lol. red dye comes from 3 possible things.it could be Red #3. A known carcinogen, which may interfere with nerve transmission in the brain and causes genetic damage. It is banned in cosmetics, but allowed in food, and it’s especially harmful to children.Or a more expensive mix of dark red (Allura Red AC) and pink (Erythrosine). Allura Red AC is dervied from coal tar which is a known carcinogen! DELICIOUS! Erythrosine is banned in Europe and still used in America, lovely. Some of the worst colors include: Green #3, Blue #1, Blue #2 and Yellow #6 which cause allergic reactions and cancer in lab animals.

Codename067
If I ever get to meet the people in charge on deciding the price increase, I'm going to shove my shoes half way up their ahhem.200g at 16 bucks? how about 500g of AF at the same exact price? Snoopy1966
Way to much money and like everyone said it is only 200 grams. I have not been impressed by any flavor except Mon Cherry. I like the taste but it does not have the nicotine content of Tangiers and my body craves that now. I do not like all that sticky icky food coloring at all. I hate when you pack a bowl and your fingers are red or even worse green or blue if you have some SB..... YUCK!!
Dr. Atkins
I refuse to support that company. That said, Fantasia Pink Lemonade is one of the few candy tasting flavors I absolutely adored. It wasn't TOO too sweet and the sourness was just perfect. Most of my friends agree as well. Does anyone have an alternative? And please don't say Starbuzz, because I've only found their Pumpkin Pie to be tolerable.
