Smoke Rings Out Of The Purge Valve

I have. Happens rarely.

You just have to puff very light puffs and I actually puff back into the hose without having the mouthpiece entirely in my mouth so that about half of the air escapes and doesn;t make it into the hose since you want very slight puffs. It might depend on the purge valve too. My (I'm assuming chinese-made) hookah does it easily when there is no draft present.

I'v done the rings from the purge biggrin.gif My KM Amer has like 3-4 holes so most the time i get 2-3 perfect rings. Puffing out lightly is def the key.

i've had it do it with one of mine, but what would REALLY impress me would be rings out of the head!

I did that once. Have no clue how it happened or if it'll ever happen again.

I bet it could be done. I bet a Phunnel bowl would be a good place to start. Hrm....

On further inspection of my technique I guess you have to have a purge that will stay open a bit because if you have to keep breaking the seal it won't work properly. I noticed this because today my purge won't stay open and I can't do it. So if you are going for it maybe use an airsoft BB and don't clean the purge for a bit so it stays open a little.

[edit] It's sticking open and working properly now that I've gunked it up a bit from purging. Edited by derogatory

I usually get rings out of my purge and head a few times each session...I never really thought it was a big deal..The rings from the head are very small though..
