Diadem_of_12_Stars
I just bought my new hookah 2 days ago, and after hanging out with my friend that was really sick a week ago, I caught what he has and now im really sick. My throat is so swollen and in so much pain I can barely eat or drink. My question is, once I'm feeling better, how long should I wait to smoke again? I'm really pissed cause I just dropped $120 on it, and I'd really like to start smoking it again.
Codename067
Nothing is going to happen if you give it a break.Next week is always going to be there, so just wait it out.
MrMoodz
Disinfect the hookah hose tip. Once your throat is feeling normal you should be fine. I wouldn't smoke if your throat is still in recovery.
Sahara Smoke Co
I would wait until your throat is completley better, I know it will be hard not smoking a hookah for a few days. if you try and smoke while your throat is still infected then it will take even longer for your throat to heal. also the hookah wont taste as good if you're sick. a couple months ago I got a throat infection as well. it was the worse week without smoking hookah. thats really the worst part for me when i get sick, i can handle the aches and fever but i cant handle not smoking hookah
vaypourus
I used to get pretty bad throat infections when I was younger. My rule of thumb was - once you feel 100% back to normal, give it another 24-48 hours before you dive back into life. There were more than a few times that I felt awesome, went out and went crazy, and ended up sick all over again. When in doubt, wait it out. Corny, but a swollen throat is pretty terrible and worth waiting for full recovery.
