When I first heard about the Badr Al Din Smoked Salmon, I was pretty skeptical. I decided to give it a shot and here we are...

Smell: I swear to god, this stuff genuinely smells like smoked salmon! Aside from the fishiness, I can detect a hickory-like scent, followed by a spicey scent (think Nakhla Earl Grey) and topped off with a slight yet distinct citrus/lemon scent.

Cut: This stuff is a drier shisha, not unlike Nakhla.

Smoke: All I can say is "whoaa!" This is one of the few times that a brand can deliver the flavor they promise. On the inhale I catch the smokey fish taste and on the exhale i get the spicey lemon flavor. Its a great combination of flavors. The scents mix perfectly and I am completely convinced that I am smelling/eating a smoked salmon!

This stuff was pretty good. I can't wait for the next flavors from Badr Al Din.

Ok guys i got my sample today also. As promised i have smoked it up (by smoked it up i mean it was so good i smoked 3 bowls which cleaned out my sample) and as promised a review.

When I first heard about the Badr Al Din Smoked Salmon, I was a little concerned I mean i had never heard of them and i was a little worried that it was gonna be terrible. But i figured what the heck im out of shisha so i might as well get some free samples. Besides once i figured out that i had met Amir ( the guy who runs the place) i figured it would be ok.

Set-up: Got the Ma'Shal, tap water in the base, superchief, and two coco's

Smell: Smells like it should. Salmon on a fire straight out of the river and onto the fire. Also a bit of a peppery sweet smell (i thought maduro leaf) Of course lemony.

Cut: This stuff is a drier shisha, not unlike Nakhla.

Smoke:This stuff had hardcore clouds. Im talkin whiter than paper, bigger than the beatles clouds.

This stuff was pretty good. I actually skipped lunch today because after smoking it I felt like I had already eaten salmon. The only problem I see with this stuff is that its too good, I smoked all of it in one sitting and now im out of things to smoke. I can't wait for the next flavors from Badr Al Din.

I just bought some salmon steaks for tomorrow....gonna slice them up and put them in the base. Give it that real salmon essence. It doesn't really need the fresh salmon to make it more realistic, but I'm sure its gonna be like putting some lemon juice in the base when smoking some AF lemon. It will be an enhancement I think.



Scoop...I'll see if Amir has got any more of this stuff to send out.

for real? my one problem was this is I couldn't pull off crazy clouds. it was ok, but could be better i thought.

i had 3 coco's on there for the first few mins but that got too harsh so I stuck with 2.

I'll work on my packing technique with it next go-around of samples as I'm all out.


vayp you're a crazy fucker.. salmon in the base??? lol wow man... how much do you have left?

Thank you for the positive feedback on our smoked salmon shisha. I am glad you and others were able to enjoy it. I have had numerous emails requesting other flavors. While we are still a startup company and the response has been overwhelming, I am pleased to offer a new steak flavor. The flavor is primarily steak but has an A1-type spice to it. I will be sending you and Phil 250g each within the next two weeks (we are still finishing up some final touches) which you may disperse to fellow Hookah smokers as you see fit. As unique as this sounds...salmon...steak....smoke.... I think I might vomit. My friends and I have toyed around with the idea of making a jalapeno shisha, just cause we thought we needed a Texas Flavor, but honestly ever time i think of it....not sure.

I know this seems like asking for a handout but I would LOVE to get my hands on even a small sample of one of these flavors. It makes me hungry just reading about it.

If anyone has one available PM me. I'd like it if the maker would send some my way, but it would be inconsiderate to ask him to make more shisha for just one guy.


But If I can't get a sample, then keep these reviews coming, reading about it isn't the same but it's better than nothing wink.gif
