Super Nova Rotating Hookahs

Recommended Posts

Well you will find that rotating hookahs are a bit of a pain. Rotators have a tendency to tip over. 6 Hoses is a bit excessive for the price and bang for your buck you would be better off getting 2 - 3 Hose Pharaohs if you have to have 6 hoses.

if you have 3 hoses, you don't need a rotator base. people can easily pass the hose to each other.

and yeah, 6 hoses is excessive. I almost never feel the need to use more then two, even if I smoke with 7-8 people.

ya..if you have 6 hoses, covering a circle anyways, why bother with the rotator??? It's just one more thing to go srong with the moving parts amd only 1 or 2 of you can hit it at the same time anyways or no one will get any smoke. ^ hose rtators are the ultimate silly gimmick if you ask me. BUT if it's what you want...go for it, you're the one who's going to smoke from it.

Yeah... I never understood why rotators come with more than one hose... unknown.gif

there are a lot of complaints about them leaking but one of the local lounges has used them for 1.5 years and are just now getting rid of them (being used every day probably multiple times thats not bad, not great compared to others out there but not bad)

i really dont see how it can really leak that much more easily than a standard hookah. the rotating part is in the base and does not have to seal, the top of the vase seals to the metal part and once its together you dont take it apart and then it just has a screw in part up top.

6 hoses, meh if its your bag then go for it but i wouldnt get many hoses un less you know you will be smoking all the time with a lot of people. im going to pick up a 2 hose lunar i think later this summer, i really dont care a whole lot about the rotating feature to it i just like the look of them and having 2 hoses i can smoke with my roommate or a few friends and not have to deal with 1 hose for 4 people that all like to smoke a lot.

for the leaking stereotype of them, its nothing teflon tape or an oring wont fix and heck if its worse than that i can solder the f'er, cause if the first 2 dont fix it theres gota be a hole

I have the three hose comet and I like it. The 3 hoses + rotation works for me because usually I am smoking with between 3 and 6 people, hookah at the center of the table and role playing papers, dice and such spread over the rest so there is a lot of shuffling around.

6 hoses is stupid. Only a few people could get smoke at any time anyways since 6 people would be battling for air.

Unless you want it for the gimmick get a two hose, three hoses maximum.

Oh ya also prepare to lust after better made hookahs after the purchase. I love mine but it is no where near as well made as a KM or Mya.

i have one of the small 23 inch rotators from hookah company. I ordered it because i only had a qt and wanted to try something bigger. It worked great for about 6 months and then started to leak bad. A whole base full of water would only be about a quarter way full after like twenty mins. It hit great but the hose and bowl that came with it sucked so i got a namour and a phunnel. Also got harsh kinda fast i donno if it's because the base can't hold much water or what. It's only a single hose so the rotator worked quite well.

I just got a 29" caramana km for 70 dollars and it's the best hookah that i have ever used. Well worth the money.

thank you all:) I think I'll not go for this hookah. One last thing i wonder about. If I smoke alone on a multiple-hose hookah like the super nova rotating six hose, will the smoking experience be bader than with a one-hosed?

if the auto seal works right it should be fine.

soco9konstantine. i take it the one you had needed to be sealed on the top and bottom, as far as i know the ones from H-S have a solid bottom so they only seal up top

i purchased a 3 hose comet from HS as my first hookah and I really like it. The auto seal kinda sucks so I just took the ball bearings out and it smokes alot better. I really dont see the point of a multiple hose rotator now that I own one, one hose is all you need. I might just buy a single hose stem for it.
