mcpowley
Hey guys, i'm pretty much a complete newbie to hookah, me and a friend just started going to the hookah bars around here about a month ago, and we really enjoy it. Anyway, i've been looking to get a hookah and have been reading the forum about the whole day...i'm looking for a 30"+ hookah and have narrowed it down to two. My price range is about a max of $120...i'm a poor college student. ;)I've narrowed it down to the Stargate(read a lot about it...kinda scared about the threading problems...but it looks like crazy solid construction, i'm looking to get the 32" but I can't find it on ebay) I'm also looking at a Mya Saray Acrylic but the whole fact that it's acrylic kinda turns me off...but it's supposed to be great. http://www.myasaray.com/store/item.asp?ITE...EM_ID=866&DEPAR TMENT_ID=46That's the biggest acrylic I think they have...also the glass one i'm looking at http://www.myasaray.com/store/item.asp?ITE...EM_ID=886&DEPAR TMENT_ID=49This glass one is about 130 but i'm willing to splurge since it looks so darn nice...I did find some mya's on ebay for pretty good price... Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions on a good hookah 30"+ with just one hose(that's all i need) Or if anyone can offer some input. Thanks so much, and sorry about the scattered nature of my post! Cold493
My gut feeling as a fellow college student is to go with the Mya. I am biased against the stargate though but only because of the way it looks. Taqseem who sells it is great to deal with and you can be sure its high quality. The mya one is nicer in my opinion though because of the way it looks. I dont think you could go wrong with either of those choices. The Mya acrylics are on ebay too and cheaper than the website. 27" is plenty too it doesnt have to be 30". Listen to some other opinions forst before going with what I said cause I think it might end up more people supoprting the stargate.

dunhillsharp
I agree, i would never order from genuinehookahs, or for that matter any other seller on ebay that tries to legitimize themselves with fake feedback. I got my hookah about a year ago from caravansarai imports. The only gripe i had with them is that they were a little slow on shipping.

yashman19
until you try our service or products keep your big mouth shut
Hey bro...Now I'm not going to personally bash your company as you are right, shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but seriously...Try using the fourm search function for your own company name and see what comes up... A majority of this forum is used specifically for newcomers asking others opinions on different vendors out there, to make sure they can order with confidence. So whats wrong with people warning others of potentially dangerous purchases...And from what I've seen, there are a couple threads describing their experience with genuinehookahs..and they wern't pretty. We don't all get together and randomally pick a vendor out of a hat and decide that we're going to bash them for no good reason.. There are reasons for everything. MR Bubble
As I just rolled out of the sack and missed most of this, I will respond as I did in the previous post wit hno hard feelings: To Genuinehookahs: Thank you for choosing this forum as a place to find refuge from the everyday life of whatever it is you do. Believe me, I do understand your frustration from initial attacks that could have been phrased a little different. Yes, it is true that some accusations may have been uncalled for. Remember, dealing with the general public will bring forth opinions, that from personal experience, contradict what you feel to be an accurate reflection of your business. However, I am almost sure you have failed to read the interim forum rules of conduct. It is at the top of the page, under the title of: "READ THIS!!!" Please review this prior to any further posting. While I am not the forum administrator, it is my obligation (as explained) to establish a set of rules that most members feels are fair, and then to enforce those rules. As explained, I have no heartache with mild advertising to support your livelihood. However, when it appears you use this forum as a platform to market, nothing of value is being created or supported on the forum. when it gets to the point that names and derogatory comments fly, it is time to disengage. This forum is for the enthusiast to create and discuss topics related to a specific past time. Not an advertisement medium. Also, as stated in the interim rules: "Retailers, whole sellers, and other type of vendors will not spam, flame or in any other way harass members on this forum, and will disengage when asked to." Also check out: "If your product is overpriced, or inferior, accept the opinions of the members. This forum is for them, not you MR Retailer." It is now time to disengage. Thank you in advance for understanding. MR Bubble
