The Nour Hookah Discussion

Recommended Posts

the hookahs in the pictures are Nours.

i spoke with Eric and he showed me some of them and yes, the ones in the pictures are the same ones that Eric gets, and yes, they are Nours. they also make brass hookahs that do not have that brass color. they are silver in color, but still brass. and the disigns on the tray have more detail than the brass colored ones. other variations. very beautiful.

personnally, i'm leaning towards the brass colored ones. i think they are just breathtaking. they seem more solid, too. and the purge valve sticks farther out from the shank and i like that. would make it easier to take off if you needed to.

those vases, by the way, have fuming on the inside of them. pretty cool, huh? i've never seen a hookah vase with fuming before now.

those hoses that say "Nour" in old english are freakin' LONG, yo! like 6 and a half or 7 feet long! nice handle, too.

so that's the word on the Nour and how to spot one.

So, now that we have established the hookahs in the photo are Nours, how do I get one? It sounds like eric has them, but swinging by his place isn't really an option for me.

the only other vendor besides Eric who carries the Nour is banned.
The vendor cannot be discussed on this forum due to the company's name.
That's all i can tell you in this forum. i'm sorry.

good news, though, with its popularity spreading, more places should carry it soon. wink.gif

I spoke w/ HC they said they just checked it and it is a brass core. Maybe the new ones are brass cored and old ones weren't ?

there is no way any of the 3 tri-metals i have owned were brass cored because my buddies 29" nour stem weighs ALOT more than my 32" stem tri-metal

The new ones may be though.

The nour is all brass, the KM is brass core. There's quite a difference.

Yes def. a difference, but when you are smoking it and cleaning it the pipe on the inside is all that matters no? So to me it doesn't really matter as long as the inside is brass.

I was referring to a difference in weight. Brass is a lot heavier than SS. AS far as the core goes, thats all that really matters functionally anyways.

so, i have smoked out of the Nours at Eric's place some more and Tess's KM and i take back what i said about it pulling and purging as easily as the KM's. they don't purge and pull quite as easily, but it's still pretty satisfying. it is still above average. and still freakin' awesome.

if anyone buys one, please post here.

I'm a huge fan. That bohemian is one of the nicest looking hookahs I've ever seen, but this is coming from someone who doesn't care for the style of KMs for the most part.

okay. let me correct what i said. MOST KM's look kinda cartoony to me. but the old trimetal and the newer trimetal design are both freakin' AWESOME! i really like the hoses, too. i'd still choose my Nammor over a km hose, though.

but on average, i like the way the syrians look. the average syrian beats most egyptians i've seen.
